Sinfonía por el Perú has main casts formed by outstanding musicians —women and men— coming from the different centers of the organization. These are the natural consequence of the collective work in the center and reinforce the values of the intervention: the Children’s Choir, the Youth Choir, the Children’s Orchestra and the Youth Orchestra.
The Sinfonía por el Perú Youth Orchestra is made up of more than 150 young people from the musical teaching centers of Sinfonía por el Perú, whose musical repertoire ranges from Peruvian and Latin American music to international works of a high artistic level.
At the national level, the orchestra has participated in important national events and opera seasons. He has accompanied Juan Diego Flórez in countless presentations, such as the concert held in 2017 at the National Stadium in favor of the victims of El Niño Costero; the concert for the first seven years of Sinfonía por el Perú in 2018 and the concert "Serenata al Perú" in the Plaza Mayor in Lima, in 2019, among others. His first Christmas album obtained the triple gold record by surpassing the barrier of 12 thousand copies sold in 2018.
As part of its international projection, the Youth Orchestra has made international tours in Latin America and Europe: in 2017 it traveled to Colombia to be part of the Youth Orchestra of Latin America; he was in Spain to play for the first time at the Teatro Real in Madrid together with Juan Diego Flórez; and in 2019 he participated in the prestigious Lucerne Festival, in Switzerland. In addition, he moved to Salzburg to receive master classes from the musicians of the Vienna Philharmonic. In 2022 he made a successful tour of Austria and Switzerland with the tenor Juan Diego Florez, appearing at three of the most important symphonic music festivals in the world: Salzburg, Gstaad and Lucerne.
The cast is directed by maestro José Zamora Morales, it was created on October 26, 2020, it is currently made up of 100 beneficiaries, coming from the different nuclei of Sinfonía por el Perú in Lima, who became part of this cast after a arduous audition process. He is currently receiving his first classes and face-to-face rehearsals at his headquarters in the Puericultorio Pérez Aranibar and held his first debut concert on August 17, 2022.
The Youth Choir brings together the most outstanding young singers of Sinfonía por el Perú, who have become a benchmark for vocal musical development for their other colleagues within the organization. The Youth Choir has accompanied Juan Diego Flórez in numerous performances in the country and made its last international tour at the 2019 Lucerne Festival in Switzerland.
An excellent sample of the artistic development of the Central Choirs is their virtual musical production: "Sinfonía sings at home", which was recorded and mastered entirely from the homes of the teachers and beneficiaries during the time of mandatory social isolation decreed by the Peruvian State. to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
The cast is directed by the teacher Marianela Vale Arteaga and was created on June 1, 2020. It is currently made up of 35 beneficiaries, from the different nuclei of Sinfonía por el Perú in Lima and provinces, selected after an audition process. He has been making various presentations together with the Central Casts in various stages of the city.
